Kathmandu, in continuation of the tradition to honour Nepalese citizens who have graduated from various educational institutions of Pakistan, the Embassy of Pakistan organized its Annual Alumni Get Together at Hotel Aloft, Kathmandu. These graduates included recipients of scholarships under Pakistan Technical Assistance Programme (PTAP) in MBBS, BDS, D. Pharmacy, BS Engineering etc as well as those who have graduated besides it in other fields including Mass Communication and Agriculture. Kathmandu . 12thAnnual Scholarship Award Ceremony was organized by Embassy of Pakistan to Nepal at Hyatt Place, Kathmandu. Mr. Suresh Adhikari, Secretary, Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, Government of Nepal was Chief Guest. He gave away “Ambassador of Pakistan Scholarships” to Nepali students. The scholarships are awarded to the most deserving/ bright Nepalese students selected by the respective Principals of Schools from across Nepal. This year 180 students from 119 schools were awarded the scholarships. Moreover, a laptop was given to the Best Student.
